Bio

Vennie was born to Joseph M. and Agnes (Cech) Kralik. He grew up on the family farm east of Wahoo and attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School through the tenth grade. He went on to graduate from Wahoo High School. On Sept. 7, 1942, Vennie was united in marriage to Martha "Marty" Bouc by Fr. Matthew Nemec at St. Wenceslaus Church. They lived on their farm east of Wahoo where Vennie was a grain farmer. He retired in 1981 and they moved into Wahoo. Vennie was a parishioner at St. Wenceslaus Church, a member of the church cemetery board, a member of the rural fire board for 50 years and past president, and an honorary Wahoo Fire Department member. Preceded in death by parents, infant sister Mary Kralik, sisters Agnes and Lucille Kralik. Survived by wife Marty, children and spouses: Joe and Carol Kralik, Wahoo, Mikel and Sue Kralik, Auburn, NE, Carolyne and Jim Lawson, Wahoo, Tony Kralik, Ralston, NE, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
