Bio
Dewey was a child of Mariah Elizabeth Carter adn Albert Fellows Whipple. He had 4 siblings: Carrie Elizabeth, Bertha , Enos and Jessie Maria . He first married Jennie Smith on September 19, 1918 in Provo, Utah. They had 9 children: Albert Jay, Illa, Dewey Albert, Rulon Dexter, Walter LeGrand, Jenevieve Alma, Richard Lavar, Floyd LeRoy and Roy Dean. Jennie died in 1935 and Dewey married Ruth McKean on April 20, 1937 in Tooele, Utah. Ruth died in 1951. Dewey then married Mardella Carter on April 29, 1952. He married Kate Wade on June 15, 1954. His last wife, Esther Jane Muth, he married on March 16, 1964 in Salt Lake City.
