Bio

Willard H. Steele, age 93 of Wahoo, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in Omaha. He was born November 2, 1913 at Wahoo to Mancel and Florence (Maynard) Steele. Willard married Betty Lou Kruger on January 25, 1963 at Columbus. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was honorably discharged on January 30, 1943. Willard is survived by his wife Betty of Wahoo; son Preston of Wahoo; brother and sister-in-law William and Elva Steele of Osage Beach, MO; nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held at Sunrise Cemetery, Monday, April 16 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
