Lila Cole *************************** Leland David Boone was the son of David Ewing Boone Jr. and Carrie Gertrude (Larue) Boone. He was the twin of Leo Ewing Boone. On August 10, 1941 Leland married Emajeane Shy in Pittsburg, Crawford County, Kansas. After finishing college, Leland was a teacher. On December 17, 1943 he enlisted in the Army at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The obituary is available, but in keeping with findagrave rules, it has been removed from this page for copyright reasons.
