Father: Thomas Wilson GOODNIGHT b. 4 MAR 1861 in Clinton, Van Buren County, Arkansas Mother: Lougenia Hildegarde Texanna MOORE b. 21 MAR 1864 in Woodland, Randolph County, Alabama __________________ Spouse #1: Vernie FULLER Spouse #2: Lena B. WEISS __________________ HOLLAND – Funeral for Joe W. Goodnight, 75, of Holland will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Goodnight Funeral Home of Bartlett, the Rev. Issac Butterworth officiating. Burial will be at Holland City Cemetery. Mr. Goodnight died Sunday night in a Temple hospital after a short illness. Mr. Goodnight was born in Holland, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Goodnight, and lived here all his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was produce clerk for Bill Williams Produce Company of Holland until he retired several years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lena Goodnight; a daughter, Mrs. J. D. (Kathryn) Coker of Pasadena (TX); a granddaughter, Mrs Mary davis of Houston and a grandson, James Coker of Pasadena. His daughter, Joanna Goodnight, died in 1937, and his brothers, Dr. Luther Goodnight, Ollie and Earnest Goodnight, and his sister, Mrs. Annie Burns, died previously. Pallbearers will be Jim Smith, Bill Williams, Wayne Goodnight, Tom Jarolik, Edwin Kordes and Charlie Jackson. ____________________ Joseph Wheeler GOODNIGHT is 1st Cousin, 2 Generations apart, to Arthur Allen MOORE III with Grandparents, James Christopher MOORE & Martha Ann Jane RAMPY MOORE, of Joseph Wheeler GOODNIGHT being the common ancestors.
