Exemplary kindness, love and devotion. Howard B. Dickey Edna—Howard Branch Dickey, 92, of Edna, died Tuesday, June 3, 2003. He was born Dec. 25, 1910, in Kosse, to the late James Elmo and Nancy Ann Heath Dickey. He was the business owner of Water Pump Distribution and a member of Robison Street Church of Christ. Survivors: daughters, Laverne Glover of Edna and JoAnn Smalling of Carrolton; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: wife, Ozelle Wright Dickey; parents; sisters, Eula Weir and Vadna Colley; and brothers, Richannon Dickey, Albert Dickey and Travis Dickey. Services will be 10:30 a. m. Friday at Slavik Funeral Home chapel, with Boyd Jennings officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens of Edna. Slavik Funeral Home, Edna, 361-782-2152. Pallbearers: Cody Maurice Glover, Dickey Verl Smalling, Kenneth Scott Smalling, Rodney Blake Smalling, Terry Lee ray and Christopher Allen Ray.
