Robert Riley first married Lula Ann McClure and their son Albert Winfield Ferguson was born before she died in 1910. In 1912 he married Ina Bolding.They were the parents of Buford Bolding Ferguson, Anna Lou Ferguson Fincher, and Robert "Bobby" Riley Ferguson.
