[ALLEN, MARTHA THOMPSON] Bedford Times-Republican (Bedford, Iowa), Thursday, April 13, 1911 Mrs. Martha Thompson Dead. Mrs. Martha Thompson died at the home of her daughter at Omaha April 2 and was buried at her old home at Blockton Tuesday afternoon, funeral services conducted by Rev. Shenter of Blockton. Interment at Rose Hill cemetery. She leaves to mourn her death six children, Mrs. H. I. Carr of Blockton, A. C. Allen of Cedar Rapids, J. B. Allen of Arlington, Kans., Mrs. Katherine Babson, Mrs. Golding and Mrs. Eva Smith of Omaha.
