William W. "Bill" Nesladek, 73, of West Point died Monday, March 30, 2009, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. He was born April 6, 1935, in North Bend to Joseph and Marie Sedlacek Nesladek. He was a 1953 graduate of North Bend High School. He married Theresa M. Reeson on June 23, 1962, in West Point. The couple farmed near West Point since 1963. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and formerly served on the St. Charles Township Board. Survivors include: his wife; sons, Daniel (and wife, Paula), Kenneth and David, all of West Point; daughter, Karen Nesladek of Lexington, Ky.; sisters, Dolores (and husband, Art) Bose of North Bend and Joyce (and husband, Jack) Veskerna of San Diego; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson. The memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point with the Rev. Gerald Gonderinger officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point and then will continue at the church. A wake with a Knights of Columbus rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
