Bio
Mr. Malone was a beloved member of Tyler's Central Baptist Church. His funeral was held there on the afternoon of the Sunday following his death. With a crowd estimated at one thousand, it was one of the largest funerals ever held at Central. Military: Entered active service on 26 Dec 42; served in the European theater of WWII from 2 Dec 43 until the end of the war in 1945; discharged at Fort Sam Houston TX in September of that year. He lived another 53 years plus a few months after that accident. A resident of Lindale TX at the time of his death, he died in 2016 at age 86. Mr. Luce was a retired diesel mechanic. He's buried in Tyler Memorial Park.
