News-Register, McMinnville, Oregon, Tuesday, May 8, 2001 A memorial service for Helen L. Stoller of Dayton will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the McMinnville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Steve Ross officiating. Private interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, McMinnville. The chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville, will be open for visitation until 7 p.m. today. Mrs. Stoller died May 3, 2001, in her home. She was 83. She was born April 13, 1918, in Comstock, Neb., the daughter of Rudolph and Louise Kriz Stefka. She was raised and educated in Nebraska. She moved to Oregon in 1938. She and Wilbur Stoller were married Jan. 22, 1944, in Grand Island, Neb. The couple moved to a farm north of Dayton, where Mrs. Stoller lived for the rest of her life. She belonged to the McMinnville United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, belonged to the women's circle and volunteered for many activities. In Dayton, she was a Cub Scouts den mother and a member of the Unity Ladies Club and Junior Matrons. She had traveled throughout the world with her husband. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include three sons, Calvin Kearns of Dayton, Frank Stoller of Dundee and John Stoller of Tigard; a daughter, Louise Laird of Tigard; a brother, Eldon Stefka of Broken Bow, Neb.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996 and by four brothers, Ed Stefka, Lewis Stefka, Rudy Stefka and Frank Stefka.
