Funeral Mass: 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 6, 2004 at the All Faiths Chapel at the Beatrice State Developmental Center in Beatrice, NE. Mary E. Milek, 57 years of age, of Beatrice, NE. passed away at the Beatrice State Developmental Center in Beatrice, NE. Monday night, August 2, 2004. She was born on March 19, 1947 in Omaha, NE. and has lived at the Beatrice State Developmental Center in Beatrice, NE. since August of 1952. Survivors include her father William Milek Jr. from GlenEllyn, Illinois; sister Ann Milek of GlenEllyn, Illinois; brothers John W. Milek and his wife Pamela of Houston, TX., Thomas M. Milek of Boston, Mass., and James P. Milek of Kensington, Conn. She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth (Malone) Milek. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 6, 2004 at the All Faiths Chapel at the Beatrice State Developmental Center in Beatrice, NE. with Father Mark Seiker officiating. Interment will be in the Assumption Cemetery in Winfield, Illinois at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 10, 2004. The body will lie in state Thursday from 2-9:00 P.M. at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice, NE. In lieu of flowers, memorials go to the V.O.R. (Voice Of The Retarded), 5005 Newport Dr., Suite 108, Rolling Meadows, Illinois, 60008 or the Beatrice State Developmental Center at 3000 Lincoln Blvd., Beatrice, NE. 68310 with the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice, NE. in charge.
