Funeral services for Robert "Bob" Victor Loff, 98, of Palacios, were held March 15, 2005 at Palacios Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Wells officiating. Interment was at Palacios Cemetery. He was born Oct. 20, 1906, in Kandiyohi Co., Minn., to the late Andrew and Hulda Johnson Loff. He died March 13, 2005. Mr. Loff was a resident of Schicke Point since the early 1950s and was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and U.S. Army Air Corps and a member of Cecil Lee American Legion Post No. 649 of Blessing. He owned and operated Bob's Bait Camp at Schicke Point for more than 20 years, and was a Methodist. He is survived by his sister, Else Loff Olson of Schicke Point and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: sisters, Helen Frankson, Edith Frankson, and Minnie Irwin; brothers, Walter, Darwin, Matt and Arvid Loff; and nephew Wilburn Frankson. Arrangements were with Taylor Bros.
