CLARKS (Special) — Funeral services for Mrs. Hettie Wilson Boyd, 71, of Clarks, were held at 2:30 p.m. today at Old Bethel Baptist Church with the Revs. Carvelia Johnston and Jack Baucam officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Boyd died early Thursday morning at Golden Age Nursing Home in Jena after a long illness. Survivors include one son, Dalton W. Boyd of Plaquemine; six brothers, Leo Wilson of Luci[e]n, Miss., Troy Wilson, Curtis Wilson, Tonnie Wilson and Lonnie Wilson, all of Urania and T. J. Wilson of DeRidder; a half-brother, R. C. Wilson of Baton Rouge; a half-sister, Mrs. Gloria Jean Peppers of Baton Rouge; and one grandchild.
