Funeral services for Beatrice (Mooring) Lair, 79, of Carrollton, were held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville with burial at Lone Star Cemetery in Point. She died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002 at Medical Center of Lewisville. She attended the Chinn's Chapel Methodist Church in Copper Canyon, but remained a member of the Point Methodist Church in Point, TX. She was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie B. Lair and her parents Jim Foster Mooring and Tennie Addie Anderson. She spent much of her life living in Irving and Flower Mound until she retired. Once retired she and Lonnie spent time on the road in their RV seeing the country and making new friends. They built a house at Lake Tawakoni and lived there before settling in Argyle. She was full of life and loved to be on the go, she didn't want to miss a thing. Survivors include her brother Louie Ray Mooring and wife Robbie, daughter Katy Rosar and husband Bob, grand daughter Kathy Sweet and husband Scott, great grand daughters Madison and Brooklyn Sweet and many relatives and friends.
