Van Watson Patterson is the son of James Harrison Patterson and Mary Elizabeth (Evans) Patterson. He married Lula Belle Anderson. WORLD WAR I DRAFT CARD REGISTRATION: He signed a World War I Draft Registration Card on June 5, 1917 in Hopkins County, Texas stating he was born February 19, 1888 in Limestone County, Alabama. Residence: Ridgeway, Texas. Occupation:Farming for self, near Ridgeway. Married with wife and three children to support. He has heart trouble and stomach trouble.
