Wheatley, 71, of Rt. 1, Campbell, are set for 3 p.m. Monday at Campbell Methodist Church with Revs. Pat Whittimore, Robert Readley (sic) and Francis Sayle officiating. Burial will be in Brigham Cemetery near Commerce under the direction of W.Y. Goff Funeral Home of Commerce. Mr. Wheatley died Sunday at 5:30 a.m. in a Dallas hospital. He was born May 20, 1910 near Commerce, the son of Charlie Wheatley and Maggie Hazelwood Wheatley. On March 24, 1934 he married to Mamie Lowery in Hunt County. He was a farmer and cattleman and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Patricia Isham of Campbell and her husband Charlie Isham, his sister Loucille Cannon of Campbell, grandsons Scott Isham and Kenneth Isham of Campbell, and several nieces and nephews. His wife died on March 31, 1981. Pallbearers will be C.H. Kimbell, Jr., C.A. Foote, Jesse Smith, Ralph Vaughn, Harold Garrett and S.M. Cannon.
