Bio

WESTLAKE — Funeral services for Lillian C. McLaren, 82, will be at 2 p.m. today, March 4, in Hixson Funeral Home. The Rev. Tim Guthrie will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake under direction of Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy. Visitation is from 9 a.m. Mrs. McLaren died Monday, March 2, 1998, in her residence. A native of Oberlin and a resident of Westlake, she was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Westlake. Survivors include one son, Harold Ray Methvin of Westlake; one daughter, Edith Friesner of Westlake; one sister, Verda James of Washington state; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
