Bio

Ralph Grubb, 65, of Hammond, Ind, formerly of Clay City, died Thursday at Ste. Catherine's Hospital in East Chicago, Ind. Visitation and services will be in the chapel of the Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City with Bro. Larry Schnautz presiding. Burial will be in the Clay City Cemetery. He was born Sept. 23, 1920 in Olney, the son of Jacob and Goldie (Watkins) Grubb. He married Mary Raley, and she preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Vernon Grubb of Highland, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. William (Terri) Payonk of Hammond, Ind.; a half-brother, Walter Zimmerle of Olney; two sisters, Mrs. Kay Bales of Hammond, Ind. and Margaret Brady of Ozark, Ark. and four grandchildren.
