Rock Valley Bee - December 18, 1991 Frances FM. Kuiper Mrs. Frances Kuiper, age 82, of Hull, passed away Saturday, December 7, 1991 at Valley Manor in Rock Valley. Frances Fredrika Maria was born August 8, 1909, at Hull, the daughter of William and Louise (Beckman) Lutjens. She was a lifetime resident of Hull. On October 10, 1929, she married Richard Kuiper at Hull. They pursued a variety, of business ventures in Hull. Mr. Kuiper passed away December 22, 1967, at Hull. Earlier this year, Frances became a resident of the Manor. She had been employed at Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull. She also served as a foster grandparent at the River Valley School in Rock Valley for fourteen years. Mrs. Kuiper was a member of the First Reformed Church of Hull and the Ruth Circle of the church. She was also a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxilary in Hull. ∼ FRANCES F. M. KUIPER Frances Fredrika Maria Kuiper, 82, of Hull died Saturday, Dec. 7,1991 at Rock Valley. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the First reformed Church of Hull with the Rev. Gerald Vander Velde and Mr. Timothy Moermond officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery in Hull. Arrangements were by Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home of Hull. Mrs. Kuiper was the daughter of William and Louise (Beckman) Lutjens. She was a lifetime resident of Hull. On Oct. 10, 1929, she married Richard Kuipet at Hull. They pursued a variety of business ventures in Hull. Mr. Kuiper passed away Dec. 22,1967, at Hull. Earlier this year, Frances became a resident of the Valley Manor in Rock Valley, where she passed away. She had been employed at Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull. She also served as a foster grandparent, at the River Valley School in Rock Valley for 14 years. Mrs. Kuiper was a member of the First Reformed Church and the Ruth Circle of the church. She was also a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Hull. Survivors include her brother, Edwin Lutjens, and his wife, Louise, of Waterloo. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Elmer Lutjens, and sister, Ethel Heyman. Sioux County Index 1991-12-11.
