Graveside services for James Dillon Hunt,71 year old retired farmer, who died 2:30pm Thursday in Wallace Hospital on Aug 31,1961, were held 2pm Saturday at the McCain Cemetery at Stapleton, NB Sep 4,under the direction of Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. James D.Hunt, son of Albert and Carrie Hunt, was born May 23,1890 in Kansas. He was united in marriage to Linna Patterson of North Platte, NB and to this union two children born. The daughter died in infancy. He moved to the Oakland community in March 1949, after spending most of his life in Nebraska. Survivors include his wife, Linna of Oakland Star Route; one son, Alonzo of the home; two sisters, Nellie Fossett of Worling, WY and Mary Fee of Inglewood, CA; two grandchildren.
