Bio

Steven Ross Martin, 60, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 15, 2009. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Boggy Cemetery in Dill City, Okla., with Geary Martin and Mark Martin officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Martin was born March 8, 1949, in Dill City to Jesse and Etta Mae Martin. He graduated from Dill City High School. He worked for Santa Fe Railway and had been a disc jockey. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dill City. He was preceded in death by his mother, Etta Mae Martin; his father, Jesse Otis Martin; and a brother, Wayne Martin. Survivors include a sister, Barbara Aimer of Waco; and a sister-in-law, Patsy Martin of Amarillo. Amarillo Globe-News, March 17, 2009
