Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Sunday, June 7, 1992 Adele I. Richard, 88, of Alda, died Friday, June 5, at Park Place Nursing Home in Grand Island. (Funeral arrangements omitted here). Mrs. Richard was born Sept. 15, 1903, at Milwaukee, Wis., to Rudolph and Otillie (Krause) Dahlke. She was educated at Aurora and Grand Island. She worked in South Dakota at an Army post as a nanny. On Feb. 1, 1934, she married Amer Rickard at Grand Island. The couple lived in the Alda area. Mr. Rickard died in 1971. Mrs. Rickard was an avid gardener. She moved to Park Place in November of 1991. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Wood River. She is survived by one daughter, Margaret (Mrs. Jerome) Larson of Alda; three grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Dahlke of Grand Island; and one sister, Emma Grothendick of Fremont.
