Lillian Hagemeister Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 22, 1987 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Lillian Hagemeister Lillian May Hagemeister, the daughter of George Alonzo and Ethel (Mendenhall) Dunham, was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska, on December 19, 1921, and passed away at Lincoln, Nebraska, on April 18, 1987, at the age of 65 years, 3 months, and 29 days. Her childhood was spent in Hastings, where she graduated from high school. A few years later, the family moved to Giltner. On March 14, 1955, she was united in marriage to Gene Hagemeister, at Giltner. After marriage they farmed near Marquette, and in 1960 they moved to a farm near Hampton, in 1985 they moved to York. Lillian was a member of the Aurora Untied Methodist Church, and was active in church circles, and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was also associated with the Girl Scouts for 25 years, was a member of the Every Day Homemakers Extension Club, presently serving as treasurer; the Wellness Classes at York General Hospital; and served as a volunteer at the Blood Mobile. She was a loving housewife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Garold Dunham. Those who survive to cherish her memory are her husband Gene, of York; one son Rodney Gene of Brady; 2 daughters, Nancy May Biltolf of Gothenburg and Karen Kay Sekara of Hastings; 2 brothers, Lyle Dunham of Hastings and Keith Dunham of Antiock, California; 4 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
