MARSHALL Funeral services for Minnie Bell Liles Reaves, 89, of Tatum, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Colonial Chapel of Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home. Interment will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery in Panola County. Pallbearers will be Don Liles, Robin Liles, Randall Liles, Curt Liles, Lyle Johnson, and Hunter Liles. Mrs. Reaves was born on September 26, 1919, in Marshall, to Oscar Lee and Eula Mae Flowers Williams, and passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at her residence in Tatum. She married Roy Alfred Liles in Beckville, on May 8, 1937. After his passing in January 1968, she married Thomas Franklin Reaves in April 1973. She retired from the Tatum Public Schools. She enjoyed volunteer work at the Tatum Heritage House. She loved to play 42 with her quilting buddies. Survivors include her sons, Ernie Liles and wife Donna, Tommy Liles, Richard Liles and wife Holly, and Jesse Liles all of Tatum; daughter, Mendy Johnson and husband Eddie of Monroe, Louisiana; stepsons, Herschell Reaves, Innis Reaves, and Ivan Reaves; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a number of step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Eula Williams; husbands, Roy Alfred Liles and Thomas Franklin Reaves; five brothers; one sister; great-grandson, Jacob Steven White; and a stepdaughter, Iris Reaves. A special thank you to her caregivers Pauline "Pearl" Norris Brown, Wanda Weeks, Connie Simpson, Maryette Jennings, Margaret Jones, and Lucy Burch.
