Marshall Mountain Wave - Friday, June 30, 1916 Mrs. Louiza Fanny Griffin was born December 29th, 1846 and departed this life June 13th, 1916. She was converted in early life and joined the M. E. Church South. She was first married to Jno. Swan and after he died she lived a widow for a number of years and then married R. D. C. Griffin of Leslie, Ark., at her home in Norfork, Baxter County, Ark., November 15th, 1910, and came to her husband's home in Leslie where she has lived ever since until she died as above stated. Aunt Fanny, as we all call her, was a true Christian and a tender, loving companion. She was a great blessing and benediction to her husband, so faithful, attentive and tireless in her efforts to make him comfortable and smoothed the road in his declining years. He is left desolated without her in this lower world. But he can look forward with full assurance that his separation from her is of short duration and that he can meet her where separation never comes. ------------------- Husband: John Hackett Swan (17 June 1830 Campbell Co., TN - 07 February 1901 Baxter Co., AR. They were married 06 March 1867 Lawrence Co., AR and the parents of 4 children.
