Bio
After living in Licking Co. Ohio for several years Isaac purchased eighty-four acres ($105) back in Montgomery County Indiana near the Coleman L. Jenkins' farm on September 10, 1837. Rhoda Parmer died soon after the family arrived in Indiana. Her death left Isaac with the responsibility of raising three small children. After marrying his 2nd wife Lurana Barnes They moved with other family members to Lamar county near Paris Texas. Soon after the 1850 census was concluded, Isaac and Lurana Cooper and the remaining members of their family moved to Ellis County Texas. `
