Sarah Rebecca Gallaher Ray Mrs. Sarah Rebecca Gallaher Ray, age 81 of Leoma passed away Sunday, September 11, 1994 at Maury Regional Hospital. She was a native of Wayne County, a member of Calvary Hill Church of God and the daughter of the late Will and Florence McGee Gallaher. The funeral for Mrs. Ray will be held Tuesday, September 13 at 11 a.m. at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel with Rev. Jewell Travis officiating. Burial will follow in the Gallaher Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Floyd C. Ray of Leoma; one daughter, Sondra Ray West of Lenoir City, TN; one son, Ronnie Ray of Columbia, TN; one sister, Willa Dean McMahan of Wingo, KY; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Rebecca was the daughter of Will Gallaher & Florence McGee. She married Floyd Copeland Ray (son of Alfred Ray & Mabel Copeland) 18 July 1937 in Lawrence County, Tennessee.
