Beatrice Aline Porter Giles, 95, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in Hamilton. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in the Mount Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Hamilton, Ronnie Calcote officiating. Mrs. Giles was born Jan. 11, 1914, in Oscar, Okla. She retired as a cashier from Moreland's Drugstore located in the Westcliff Shopping Center in 1979. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star #420 and a lifelong member of Saginaw Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Cecil Giles; her son, Cecil M. Giles; and a granddaughter, Sandra Blanchard Peebles. Survivors: Her son, Curtis Ray Giles and his wife, Neysa; daughter-in-law, Juanita Norman Giles; and grandchildren, C. Dwayne Giles and his wife, Cathy, M. Gaylyns Darnell and husband, Tom, Nancy McKinney and husband, Mark, Cecelia D. Duncan and husband Juan, and James. Published in the Star-Telegram on 3/7/2009
