OBITUARY : JAMES "PEANUT" SHOCKEY, 43, has taken the Highway to heaven on May 7, 2006. He was born January 9, 1963 in New Braunfels Texas. He is survived by his Mother and Father Kenneth and Raylene Shockey of New Braunfels; daughters Rachel Shockey and her husband Billie Summers of Ottumwa, Iowa, Deidra Shockey of New Braunfels; grandson Trevor Summers of Ottumwa, Iowa; sisters, Paula Reininger and her husband Elroy of New Braunfels, Rebecca Shockey of New Braunfels; and a Host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will begin and 6 PM Tuesday May 9, 2006 at Zoeller Funeral Home and continue until service time on Wednesday. Funeral services will be Wednesday May 10, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Zoeller Funeral Home with burial to follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Those wishing to make memorial contributions may make them to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels or the American Cancer Society.
