August Blaze "Gus" Darilek, 60, of Elm Mott died on Tuesday. Services will be at Aderhold Funeral Home in West with burial at Gerald Cemetery. Mr. Darilek was born Feb 2, 1933 in Megargel. He married Lila Cleo Bynum Nov. 19, 1985 in Waco. He was a diesel mechanic for Central Freight Lines before retiring in 1990. He was a member of the SPJST Lodge No. 47 in Buckholts. He was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Charles Grube of Bellmead; two stepdaughters, Jenie Maxey and Debbie Grube both of Elm Mott; two brothers, Rudolph "Rudy" Darilek of Hico, and Joseph P. Darilek of Minneapolis Minn.; a sister, Mary Hrncirik of Seymour; and four step grandchildren. Waco Tribune Herald 3-12-1993
