Thomas J. JACKSON Burial Rites Today Funeral for Thomas J. JACKSON, 53, Abilene resident the past 10 months, will be held today at 3 p.m. at the North Grace Baptist Church, with the Rev. Keith McCORMACK, pastor, and the Rev. D. D. JOHNSON, officiating. Mr. JACKSON died in his home at 3550 Hickory early Friday morning following an illness of several weeks. He was born Nov. 9, 1894 at Liberty. He came to Abilene from Shawnee, Okla. Survivors are the widow, six children, Charles, Lorene, John, Kenneth, Ernest and Anna Mae JACKSON, all at home; four sisters, Mrs. V. M. VANN, Mrs. Lucy LUM and Mrs. Eula LUM, all of Cleveland, Tex., and Mrs. Lillie HARLESS of California; two brothers, W. E. and Henry JACKSON both of Cleveland. Burial will be in Cedar Hill cemetery under direction of Elliott's Funeral Home. Abilene Reporter-News (Abilene, TX) - Saturday, October 16, 1948
