Bio
Donald L. Lewis, 80, of Lowell, Ark., died Monday, March 2, 2009, in Rogers, Ark. He was born May 10, 1928, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Lewis T. Lewis and Edna Bishop Lewis. He married Glenna Cooper on April 28, 1953, in Omaha, Neb. He was in the landscaping business and worked for St. Joseph Catholic School in Long Beach, Calif. After moving to Rogers, he was employed by St. Mary's Hospital. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Glenna Cooper Lewis; a daughter and son-in-law, Jacque Grajeda and Tony Grajeda of Rogers, Ark.; five grandchildren, Antoinette Grajeda, Ashley Barrett, Dominic Grajeda, David Grajeda and Jose Grajeda; and two sisters. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the Benton County Funeral Home in downtown Rogers, Ark. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, at the Benton County Funeral Home with Father Mike Sinkler. Burial will be at the St. Vincent Cemetery in Rogers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, AR 72756.
