Bio

Wanda E. Fisher, 95, of Heritage Manor, passed away there at 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2009. She was born on October 27, 1913 in Decatur, IL to James E. and Lucy Johnson Chatwell. She married W. Edward Fisher on May 30, 1943 in Kahoka, MO. He passed away on December 21, 1998 in Peoria. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dolores Craig, one son, Kenneth Fisher, two sisters and one brother. Wanda was a volunteer at OSF St. Francis Medical Center for more than 20 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria, King Prayer Group in Henry, Mary and Martha Group, OSF St. Francis Auxiliary, Militia of the Immaculate and AMVETS. She also bowled in several leagues in Peoria. Services were entrusted to Wright and Salmon Mortuary of Peoria, Illinois.
