William Archie was the son of William J. Gobbell & Martha Estella Bruton). He married Jewell Irene Ray (daughter of Oliver Ray & Esther Gallaher) 17 April 1932 in Lawrence Co., TN. After Jewell died he married Mabel Crews (daughter of Adolphus Odell (Dolph) & Ella Crews) 31 Dec 1939 in Lawrence Co., TN.
