Bio
Richard Dee Ice, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at his home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Martin's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Richard had been a resident of Tolar since 1972. He was born July 5, 1928, to Lewis and Gladys Ice in Isle, Minn. He served in both the Navy and Air Force. Richard married Josephine Huff on April 1, 1947. He retired after a long career with General Dynamics. Survivors: Daughters, Jackie Ice and Deborah Coffin; sons, Richard, Tom and Mike; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
