Bio

Harace Lewis, 92 of Lake Charles, LA passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 in DeRidder, LA. Harace ran and operated his own chrome business for many years in the Lake Charles area and served his country in the Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion and the CC Camp. He is survived by his sister, Mildred Stevinson of DeRidder and a host of many loving nieces and nephews. Harace was preceded in death by three sisters; Vernice Lyles, Hazel Midkiff and Willie Mae Stephens and one brother, Arthur Lewis. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder. Burial followed at the Rosepine Cemetery.
