Bio

Carl Isaac Sharp, 84, of Springfield, died May 24, 1999. Mr. Sharp was born in Nebraska to James and Mary Sharp. He married Alpha Rose Parker in Caldwell, Idaho on June 30, 1934. He lived in Forest Grove before moving in 1952 to Klamath Falls, where he lived until moving to Springfield, in 1990. Mr. Sharp was a farm machinery mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors and family activities. He was a long-time member of the Lutheran Church. Survivors include his son, James Sharp of Springfield; daughters, Carla Bartel of Springfield, and Karen McGee of Dexter; brothers, Fred Sharp of Midland and Kenneth Sharp of Forest Grove; sisters, Verva Loomis of Forest Grove, June Cannon of Conelius and Mary Lou Tolson of Astoria; seven grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife on Oct. 1, 1990, and a grandson, Steven. ********************* He was the brother of Virgil Sharp and Robert Sharp and Laurence Sharp and Fred Sharp .
