Rhoda Clark Arnold, 91, of Orem, died Thursday, May 28, 1998 in Orem, Utah. She was born January 4, 1907 in Lehi, Utah, a daughter of James and Armitta Peterson Clark. She married H. Lynn Arnold, July 3, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was employed in the Ogden Public School System as an elementary school teacher for more than 25 years. She was a very beloved teacher by all her students and continued to substitute after her retirement. She was a member and officer of the Ogden Lady Lions and Lions Auxiliary. She was a very gifted story teller. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in all of the auxiliaries and was a temple worker in the Provo LDS Temple. Survivors include her husband of Orem; two sons and a daughter, Rey L. (JoAnn) Arnold, West Jordan, Marilyn Arnold, St. George; Ned C. (Margaret) Arnold, Lititz, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers and one sister, Leath Stratton, Orem; Evelyn Scott, Lakeview; and John Clark, Provo. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Salt Lake Tribune (UT) - May 31, 1998.
