From Contributor: G. Mounger (46931367) We know that Bill married Ruth Hawkins, ca 1905, possibly Indian Territory ir Texas. She was the mother of all of his known children, Carriel C David Gilbert, Manuel, and Ogle Cllomli Bison. All of his children and Bill himself moved to California at one time or the other, with many staying and passing their. It has been very difficult to track this family because the spelling of the surname, with Byson being transcribed and not the correct spelling. I am not sure if Bill knew when, or where he was born. I have not found on primary record with the same date of birth or the same place of birth. I have found Arkansas, Oklahoma, and even Texas. I am inclined to believe that the 1868 year of birth is the most correct date, and it certainly is not 1880.
