Services for Thomas C. McQuagge Jr., 53, Canton, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 30, at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Canton, with Rev. Dan Tarno officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, Van Zandt County, under direction of Eubank Funeral Home Inc., Canton. Mr. McQuagge died January 27, 2004, in Grand Saline. He was born May 21, 1950, in Dallas. He grew up in the Pleasant Grove area and attended Samuel High School. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a resident of Canton for almost 30 years. He was self-employed. He was a charter member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church of Canton. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas C. McQuagge Sr.; and brother, Marvin Cundiff. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn "Buck" McQuagge, Canton; son, Thomas Clyde McQuagge III, Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Tanna Mae and Ken Cobern, Canton; mother and stepfather, Anna Bell and Junior Cundiff, Wylie; brothers, James McQuagge, Harold McQuagge and Robert McQuagge, all of Dallas; sister, Lawanda Cundiff, Wylie; and two grandchildren.
