Bio
Theresa R. Rard was born on September 24, 1933 in Yukon, Oklahoma to Vincent and Marie Skoch and died Friday, February 13, 2009, in Oklahoma City, OK. She is survived by her husband, J.A. "Pete" Rard, whom she met at the Czech Hall, married in 1953 and shared 55 years. She is also survived by her daughter Janie Parker, son-in-law Jerry Parker; son Glenn Rard; daughter Sheila Hayes, son-in-law Tony Hayes (both of Yukon); son Johnny Rard; nine grandchildren: Kayla Edmondson; Sarah and Jeremy Parker; Brandon and Chelsea Hayes; Ashley, Maddie, Sophie and Cody Rard; and one great grandchild Charity Parker. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Ethel Yanda, Mary LaFoe, Henrietta Hajak; brothers Albert Skoch and Clyde Skoch. She was raised in Yukon and was a 1951 graduate of Yukon High School. She will be dearly missed. A visitation and rosary will be held at Yanda Funeral Home on Monday, February 16, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in Yukon, OK. Funeral Mass is at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at St. John's Nepomuk Catholic Church, in Yukon, OK with burial following at Yukon Cemetery.
