Richard Thomas Lawler was the son of Thomas Martin Lawler and Emily Craven. Richard was the father of George Burgess Lawler, whose wife was Mary Alice Benton. Mary Alice Benton was the daughter of William F. Benton and Maude Louette Hake Benton.
