Bio

Nancie R.M. Scott was born in Tennessee to James Angelus and Anna A Scott. She married George Washington Bevill in 1862 in Marshall County, Mississippi. The families moved from Northern Mississippi to Bastrop County, Texas in 1872, based on the 1870 Census and Land Records for Marshall County, Mississippi. She was the sister of Amelia Scott Bevill .
