Minnie was the 2nd of three children born to Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Meador and Mary M (Pattison) Meador. Brother and sister: William Robert "Bill or Willie" Meador (1882 – 1935) Laura Emma (Meador) Ray (1886 - 1918) Half-brothers and sister: John Douglas Meador (1893 – 1969) Nora B. (Meador) Rich (1898 – 1978) Clay Johnson Meador (1900 – 1972) 1st Husband: James Hodge "Jim" Allen (1886 - 1917) Children: Sam Hogg Allen (1907 - 1976) Willie Mae (Allen) Owen (1909 - 1996) Verlie Belle (Allen) Turner (1911 - 1989) Infant Daughter Allen (1912 - 1912) Elmer Reuben "Judge" Allen Jodie Elizabeth Allen Minnie's husband Jim and her sister Laura both died within a short period of each other.
