Bio

Randolph Times, April 21, 1983 paper. Tillie Langferman Funeral services for Mrs. George (Tillie) Langferman, 76 of Wayne were held on Thursday, April 14, at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. Jim Buschelman officiating. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery with the Hiscox-Schumacher Funeral Home in charge. Tillie, daughter of Hans and Pauline Petersen, was born August 4, 1906 at Wayne. She married to Milford Johnson in 1921 and the couple farmed in the Laurel-Concord area until his death in 1959. On May 28, 19160 she was married to George Langferman at laurel where they lived until moving to Wayne in 1963. She passed away on Monday, April 11 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne. Mrs. Langferman was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. Survivors include her husband; a stepson, Donald Langferman of Randolph and a brother, Chris Petersen of Pico Rivera, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister and her first husband. Obit contributed by Leslie Vollnogel
