he Nevada Herald, Sun., July 12, 1964--PILCHER DEATH--Mrs. Albert (Maggie) Pilcher, 84, resident of the Milo area, died at 4:30 o'clock Fri. afternoon at her home following a serious illness of two weeks. She was born March 3, 1880, in Indiana, the daughter of Bill and Nancy Evans Griffith. On July 17, 1900, she was married at Norris, Mo., to Albert Pilcher, who survives. Mrs. Pilcher was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of the home on Rt.1, Milo, eight children, Clarence Pilcher of Nevada, Nancy Dicks of Walker, Fred Pilcher of Milo, Elmer of Hume, Ella Lukes, El Dorado Springs, Arthur Pilcher of Des Moines, Murriel Pilcher of Nevada, and Jeanette Russell of Nevada; 34 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; four brothers and a sister, Jim Griffith of Eugene, Ore., Henry and Chester, both of Corsicana, Texas, Eph Griffith of Roswell, N.M.; nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Ferry Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Archie B. Warren, pastor of Pine Street Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will be in the Olive Branch Cemetery.
