Sarah Ellen Landwermeyer, the daughter of John Mathias Landwermeyer and Mary Eulalie Dorlaque, married John Edward (Zeigler) Darst the son of Jonathon D. Zeigler and Emma Elizabeth Miller. (Sarah's husband John, was adopted by his step-father Isaac Darst.) Sarh and John were married on September 10, 1885 in Kaufman County, Texas.
