Willa Mae Horn, 77, of Oconto died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, in Callaway. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oconto with the Rev. James Hunt officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Broken Bow. She was born Sept. 30, 1931, in Merna to Otho and Cennie (Christen) Thomas. On March 26, 1951, she married Mack Horn in Oconto. Survivors include her husband; sons, Michael and his wife, Linda, of Livonia, N.Y., and Patrick of Oconto; daughter, Elizabeth Lonowski and her husband, Allen, of Scottsbluff; brother, Eugene Thomas of Broken Bow; sister, Helen Hagenow of San Marco, Calif.; granddaughter, Dawn Lonowski of Springfield, Ore.; grandsons, Toby Whitte Horn of Pittsburgh, Nathan Whitte Horn of Rochester, N.Y., Eric Lonowski of San Francisco; great-granddaughter, Abbirose Lonowski; and many nieces and nephews. After graduating from Broken Bow High School in 1949, she met Mack Horn. They lived and worked on a ranch together for more than 57 years. She enjoyed camping, family and friends. She also enjoyed needlecraft projects, sewing, building dollhouses and her pets. She belonged to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oconto, where she helped with whatever needed to be done. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Glen Thomas; sister, Elenor VanSandt; and granddaughter, Christy Lonowski. Memorials are suggested to Good Samaritan Center in Callaway or Callaway Hospital
