Corsicana Daily Sun Clarence Dawson 4/01/06 Clarence Dawson, 81, of Mineola passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006, in Mineola. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Dresden Cemetery with Chris Moody officiating. Pallbearers will be David Dawson Jr., Rusty Dawson, Danny Page, George Page, Daniel Sikes and David Sikes. Mr. Dawson was born Dec. 5, 1924, in Milford. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorena Dawson on Jan. 20, 2003. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, David and Diane Dawson of Mesquite, Robert Dawson of Frost, and Clarence and Ann Dawson of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Audie Reed of Hawkins, and Christine and Shelton Page of Overton; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
